  • How Do I Know Which Program to Choose?

    Both of the Art of Crystal Singing Bowls certified and non-certified programs offer the same course material, including all of the content presented in the Introduction to Crystal Singing Bowls program. The Certification option ensures you complete assignments correctly with assignments and tests. Review from Denise is there to make sure that you feel confident in your skills as a Certified Crystal Singing Bowl Practitioner. Both programs are designed with one main goal in mind: that you know how to create beautiful sound journeys with your Crystal Singing Bowls.

  • How Many Bowls Do I Need?

    There is no required number of bowls needed for the Introduction to Crystal Singing Bowl Program. For those interested in the Art of the Crystal Singing Bowl Program, you will need a minimum of at least 5 bowls to complete many of the activities. However, your learning experience will be enhanced with 6 to 9 or more bowls. If you require assistance in selecting bowls, please visit our website and use the filters to listen to a variety of sets that have your existing bowls in them. (See the link at the bottom of the page) If you still need help, please give us a call.

  • Do I Need Any Specific Notes?

    No, you don't. Denise will teach you how to create a wide range of sound journeys using the notes you love.

    After teaching music in the school system for 28 years, I've learned how to tailor lessons so that everyone can participate, regardless of the notes they have.

  • What Will I Learn?

    In the Introduction to Crystal Singing Bowls program, you will learn how to choose your singing bowls, how to set them up and how to play your singing bowls one note at a time to create simple yet sweet sounds.
    In the Art of the Crystal Singing Bowl Program, we will build on those steps, and in straightforward language, you will acquire the skill of playing your singing bowls with finesse to craft captivating harmonies. You'll also learn how to craft an array of sound journeys, each with a distinct focus or intention. Lastly, I'll provide you with the tools necessary to compose a diverse range of sound journeys, allowing you to discover and develop your unique playing style.

  • Is a Musical Background Required?

    None at all. If you're similar to most of my clients, you likely have no prior musical training, but you do have a sense of what sounds pleasing. In this program, I am instructing my daughter alongside you in each video. Rose has no formal music training, which means she's raising the very questions we know you might have at home. Each lesson is designed to be straightforward, allowing you to follow along comfortably and at a pace that ensures your enjoyment.

  • What Materials Will Be Provided?

    Each lesson comes in video format, and in addition, you will receive a PDF document that can be printed for completing written activities.

  • How Long Do I Have To Complete The Course?

    You can spend as much time as you like on each video. For some lessons, you may choose to spend just one day, while for others, you may prefer to dedicate two weeks to practice for yourself, your family, and friends before moving on to the next lesson. There is no expiry date; the videos will always be available for you.

  • Can I Upgrade to the Paid Program Later?

    Absolutely, you can! At the very end of the non-certified course, you'll find coupon codes tailored to offset the amount you've already paid, serving as a credit towards the new total. This ensures that opting for the certified program won't result in additional costs for you.

This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for music, eventually leading me to earn a degree in music with a focus on theory, composition, history, and children's music education. Following a dedicated career spanning 28 years, during which I authored music curriculum and imparted musical knowledge to thousands of students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, I decided to embark on a new journey – the enchanting realm of singing bowls and gongs.

Since then, I have dedicated over 1,000 hours to intensive training and research, diligently dismantling the veils of marketing, dispelling myths, and dispelling the disinformation that often accompany these practices. My extensive learning encompasses notes, frequency, the physics of sound, the history of sound, and the pragmatic application of consistent practice.
